My Community
Celina, with a population of 1250 and the County seat of Clay County, Tennessee, is a true gem located in a warm hearted community of caring people in Middle Tennessee.
Clay County, with a population of 7900, offers breathtaking mountain views, grassy pastures (some vacant, others with cattle, horses, or other farm animals) and spectacular waterways. The beautiful Dale Hollow Lake along with the Cumberland and Obey Rivers surround Celina and offer boating and an abundance of fresh water fishing. Many marinas dot the shoreline of this grand lake adding to the greatness. Standing Stone and Dale Hollow Lake State Parks are close offering hours of enjoyment, relaxation, and family recreation.
Celina boasts of being home of the friendliest people in the world. The people in this quiet town are warm hearted providing a great atmosphere for rural living. Celina offers old fashioned courtesy with friendly waves from neighbors as you drive through the small town streets. You may also encounter friendly neighbors always willing to lend a helping hand while in our community. The caring environment of the town makes for a great place to raise your family or retire.
Clay County offers low property taxes and no State income tax in addition to the wonderful atmosphere. An affordable choice for relocating, retiring, or raising your family, Celina Tennessee and Clay County offer small town living while still being in near proximity to Nashville, and Cookeville being only a short drive.
Our community takes great pride in the education system. Former Clay County schools director Dr. Young has helped develop quality programs at each level of education. These programs are world class. Our school system is proud to boast of graduating many of the local community doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, college professors, business professionals, veterinarians, surgeons, judges, dentists, military officers, and airplane pilots.
Our four seasons are each distinct and include spring, a renewing time full of fresh air and blooming colors. During fall the green grass and flowers fade but your senses can be filled with the smell of fresh air and your sight with bursting fall colors of orange, red, yellow, and browns. Fall views can be seen from our mountain tops or our lower lying terrain. Winter has minimum snowfall painting our rooftops white for only a short period of a day or two. Summer offers the ability to rejuvenate outdoors with weather warm enough to enjoy great outdoor recreations and not melt doing so.
Living here is down to earth and the people are great. I invite you to come see all the wonders Clay County has to offer you and your family.
Although Celina is our hometown and the town where our office is located our service area offers a larger range of choices.
